We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. In addition to the holiday, last week was special for Lancers for many reasons–Career Day, Alumni Day and the alumni basketball game, the Central-Northeast football classic (though that didn’t turn out so well for our side) and several formal and informal class reunions.

Here are images from some of those moments. If you have some you want to share, please email them to Yvonne Dennis (246) at yd246@yahoo.com with your class number and some description of the photographs.L1000610

If you weren’t a part of Career Day–which consists of speaking to seniors for three periods in the morning about your career and giving them general career guidance–and you want to be included for next year, email Career Day organizer Jeff Muldawer (225) at jeffmuld@comcast.net. Career Day is always the Tuesday immediately before Thanksgiving.

And remember, there are plenty of other opportunities to return to your alma mater and be a presence in the lives of current students — the Winter Concert (7 p..m. Dec. 18), senior class blood drive (Feb. 17), Spring musical presentation of “Oklahoma” (Thursday April 16, 3:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday April 17 & 18, 7 p.m.; and Sunday April 19, 2 p.m.) Central night at the Phillies  (May 15), the Home &School/Alumni 5k (TBA) and more. Keep checking this website and follow us on Twitter @centralalums

Your contributions are wanted and appreciated.
