246 Class Gift

Welcome to the 246 Class Gift Donation Page. The purpose of this fund is to honor the memory of our classmates who have passed through a collective contribution from our class to our dear high, dear Central High.

Currently, the school and the AACHS are in the middle of a transformative capital campaign known as the Leading the Way for Innovation and Creativity. It is a truly inspiring, critical, and an ambitious master plan that will nurture the future growth and development of students and positively impact the neighboring community.

This project will expand, renovate and reinvigorate the campus at Ogontz and Olney Avenues and create a world-class learning environment for future generations of high school students in Philadelphia. One of the centerpieces of this campaign will be the construction of the Performing Arts Center. This is what we hope the class gift fund proceeds will go towards which will allow for a naming opportunity recognition from our class to those who have departed.

Since our class is coming upon its 35th reunion, we have set a goal of $35,000 based on the reunion year. Our hope is that we will have a way to celebrate and gather in person, but only when it is safe to do so. To reach this by our tentative reunion expected in 2022, please consider giving a recurring donation at a number that plays into 246 – for example, a monthly gift of $24.60 would be a way to spread the support over a period of time.
