As the halls of Central High School fill up again, a new school year brings with it something we all recognize: a fresh start, new opportunities, and another year to build on Central’s extraordinary legacy.

Here at the Associated Alumni of Central High School, we’re heading back to school, too.

This year brings new faces, renewed energy, and an ambitious agenda for how we can better connect our alumni, support today’s students, and invest in the future of Central.

Summer Events!

It was a busy summer for the Central community! Alumni and friends came together for our sixth annual Central Sips, a fundraiser with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, class reunions, and more.Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer another great season of Central connection and Lancer pride

Meet Our Growing Team!

Help us welcome the new, growing team of the AACHS.

Amelia Kuhn, Director of Development, will lead our fundraising efforts and work alongside alumni and friends to strengthen the culture of philanthropy that has supported Central for generations.

Jocelyn Braddock (259), Director of Institutional Advancement, will help expand the ways AACHS engages our community and advances the priorities of Central High School.

Dayanna Shomo, AACHS coordinator, will help keep our day-to-day operations run smoothly while supporting alumni, and the broader Central community.

Together with Cynthia Lech (263) as Executive Director, the entire AACHS team looks forward to getting to know our alumni, hearing your Central stories, and finding new ways to keep the community connected to the school we all love.

What’s Ahead This Year?

There is a lot happening at Central and a lot for our alumni community to look forward to.

Advancing the Leading the Way Campaign
We will continue building momentum for the transformation of Central’s campus, with a major focus on Phase II and the new Academic & Performing Arts Center. With significant philanthropic and public support already committed, this year will be an important one as we work to bring this transformational project closer to reality. Creating More Ways to Stay Connected

Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty, we want AACHS to be a meaningful connection back to Central. This year, we’ll continue looking for new opportunities to bring alumni together, share what’s happening inside the school, and celebrate the people who make the Central community so special.

Expanding the Ways You Can Make an Impact
From annual giving and scholarships to planned gifts and support for the Leading the Way Campaign, we’re working to make it easier for every member of our community to find a way to support Central that is meaningful to them.

Keeping Students at the Center
Most importantly, everything we do comes back to Central’s students. As another class begins its journey through Central, our goal remains the same: to ensure today’s students (and generations still to come) have the opportunities, resources, and spaces they need to thrive.

We Want to Hear From You!

A new school year is a reminder that while Central continues to evolve, the strength of this institution has always been its people.

This year, we hope you’ll stay connected. Attend an event. Reconnect with a classmate. Share your Central story. Come back for a visit. Learn more about the campaign. Or simply reach out and introduce yourself. There is a lot ahead for Central this year, and we’re excited to have you be part of it.

Here’s to a great school year and to what we can accomplish together!
