“It was the first day of high school at the infamous Central High, and me and my good friend were exploring the school during our lunch, unsure of where to go. My friend ran into someone she knew, an upperclassman. He introduced himself to me and brought us to the alcove, what we now know as a staple to our high school experience.
The upperclassman, Noel, kept us company and started a friendship that would last a lifetime. Every day during our lunch, we would meet at the alcove and joke around with one another. Our friendship grew past talking during our lunch period and turned into texting every day. Noel, an upperclassman who just so happened to have the same lunch period as me, became my best friend.
Fast forward ten years, Noel and I are now recently engaged and in the process of planning our wedding. We owe our love to Central High. Please see attached a picture of us during my freshman year/his junior year (2009-2010) in the Alcove at Central High and a picture of us now during our recent proposal (2020)!”
