229 50th Reunion (delayed by two years)
The Reunion Committee looks forward to seeing you celebrate with us in May of 2022 for our much anticipated “Celebration of Life”—our 50th (52nd) Reunion and our 70th birthday year!
Our committee met “on the day that will live in infamy,” and it is now the moment of truth! We need to establish your desire to attend our activities. These include:
- Friday May 13th—a tour of the school, followed by a luncheon under a canopy on school property (due to COVID, the Philadelphia School District is prohibiting any large crowds from gathering in school). Our school president, Mr. Tim McKenna, is allowing us to tour the school in groups of 20. Spouses are invited. The luncheon is free to everyone who is paying for Saturday night’s dinner. For those who are only attending the Friday tour and lunch, the cost is $25 per person.
- Saturday May 14th—dinner event at the Marian House 507 Kings Hwy S. in Cherry Hill, NJ at 6pm and, of course, spouses are invited. There is a cash bar and a lavish buffet dinner. The cost is $102.29.
- Friday May 20th—CHS 229 Night at the Phillies! Provided that there is an MLB season next year, the Phillies will face the LA Dodgers. Tickets are $25 per person and once again, spouses are invited.
