A message from President Katharine Davis. 264:
It has been a wonderful 2023 at Central High School.
We closed 2023 with two incredible concert performances put on by our Arts Department. We were delighted to have many parents, alumni, faculty, and students in the audience.
As we approach the midpoint of the school year, students are gearing up for their midterms exams, college acceptances and a variety of exciting 2024 school events.
In early 2024, members of the two hundredth and eighty-seventh class will receive their ninth grade acceptances.
The continued support we receive from our alumni is bountiful.
The impact your gifts have made over the years, and the commitment you have shown to our alma mater is greatly appreciated, and comes at a time when it is much needed.
The AACHS Board of Managers through its Leading the Way capital campaign committee—a vibrant and dynamic network of individuals made up of alumni, parents, faculty, and community partners—has propelled our efforts and fueled our mission, driving us to achieve remarkable milestones that hold the promise of even greater transformative impact.
We invite you to join us in a crucial part of our journey to position Central High School for long-term success, sustainability, and positive community impact. Explore how you can contribute by clicking here!
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Central High School building in the near future. Thank you for your continued support.
With Appreciation,
President Davis, 264

Highlights of a great year, thanks to our Lancer community:

We celebrated and rejoiced the 40th anniversary of women students at Central.

Nearly 150 alumni shared their insights at the 25th annual Career Day, inspirational to the next generation of trailblazers.

Your support on Giving Tuesday propelled us closer to our goals, raising over $166,000 to support critical initiatives and resources.

We honored and recognized seven posthumous Hall of Fame inductees, emblematic of our school’s excellence.

A heartfelt thank you to our 1836 Society members for their pivotal role in advancing our mission, and great praise goes out to all active fundraising classes for their spirited efforts.

Together, through the generous support of our alumni and friends, we are building a brighter future through our Capital Campaign, Annual Giving, and so much more—thank you for being the driving force.
