As valued members of the Associated Alumni of Central High School (AACHS), we want you to bring your talent to the table.
Every one of you can make a difference in the success and sustainability of Dear High. Here is how:
1. Join a Committee
Whether you are passionate about networking, event planning, storytelling, or giving back, there’s a place for you within our many committees. Check out our AACHS Committees pageto learn more.
2. Become an Ambassador
Want to serve as a resource to CHS students and alumni? Individuals with experience in development, communications, non-profit experience, and mentorship can help cultivate relationships, grow our AACHS network, and guide the professional, academic, and extracurricular interests of current Lancers.
3. Young Alumni Engagement
Those in their early to mid-level careers who want to hone their skills in networking, database management, finance, and legal work can make a meaningful impact for the next generation of alumni.
4. Team up with classmates and peers
Encourage classmates and peers to actively participate, attend events, and give back through the class gift campaign. Establish a match gift or give a donation through their employer to double the impact.
5. Contribute to the Alumni Journal
If you have a knack for writing articles, conducting interviews, design work, content creation, or copyediting, we are seeking volunteers to assist Editor in Chief, Alicia Oglesby (258) and contributing writers with the Alumni Journal.
6. Spread the Word Online
Share why you give back to CHS, post a throwback memory, highlight an achievement, or snap a selfie with fellow alumni. Just be sure to tag us.
