Members of Central’s senior class (274) on Tuesday March 31 questioned the candidates for mayor of Philadelphia on education, infrastructure and other issues in a forum co-sponsored by PCN TV and the non-profit civics group Committee of Seventy.

Former district attorney Lynne Abraham, Melissa Murray Bailey, Nelson Diaz,  former city councilman James Kenney, Doug Oliver,  Milton Street and state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams all added their names to the likes of Theodore Roosevelt, James Polk and Richardson Dilworth to the guestbook that goes back to 1840 before participating in the forum in the Spain Conference Center.

The Philadelphia Primary elections are May 19. All of the candidates to replace two-term Mayor Michael Nutter are Democrats except Melissa Murray Bailey. The General Election is Nov. 3.

If you didn’t catch the live stream of the forum you can watch it Friday April 3 on PCN on Friday at 11:45 am! Comcast channel 186 and Verizon channel 9.
