The following information is shared by Central administration. Judge for yourself.

This year’s graduating class, the 275th, won high numbers of acceptances at local and faraway universities:
Drexel University 300
Penn State (all campuses) 380
Temple University 580
University of Pittsburgh 175

The University of Pennsylvania accepted 68. Central is probably its largest feeder school.

Central also had acceptances at the following highly rated institutions:
U. of Massachusetts-Amherst, UC-Berkeley, Claremont McKenna (CA), Bryn Mawr, Harvard, Duke, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Smith College, Lehigh, Swarthmore, Barnard, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), U. of Richmond, Haverford, Pitzer (CA), Yale, Tulane, Lafayette, Georgetown, Dickinson, American.

In addition, several students earned the Board of Governors’ Scholarship, which covers tuition, room and board for four years) at these schools within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education:
Bloomsburg University, East Stroudsburg University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Kutztown University, West Chester University.
