A letter from Associated Alumni of the Central High School President Jeff Muldawer (225):
On Tuesday Nov. 25, 2014, your Alumni Association will proudly present its annual Career Day program at Central for this year’s seniors and juniors, the 274th and 275th classes. This program has been a success in the past due to the contributions of alumni like you who are willing to give back to Central High School. Last year we had more than 50 presenters from the 185th class up through the 267th class. We hope to maintain the quality of the program while further diversifying the offerings.
We already have tentative commitments from numerous alums, many of whom are past participants and anxious to return again. Please note that any prior commitments must be confirmed at this time. We are always looking for younger graduates to speak to the current students.
The program will start at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast in the Spain Conference Center on the second floor. After we finish speaking to the students in their classrooms, an early lunch will be available for participants. Please advise me as soon as possible as to your availability for this year’s program. I can be reached during the day at 215-922-6073 and by e-mail at email@example.com. On the day of the program and after work, I can be reached at 215-740-7801.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing you at school on Nov. 25. If you plan on attending and are either a first time presenter or returnee with a new career, please prepare a short bio. A sample bio previously provided was as follows: “She is a speech language pathologist, which is expected to be one of the fastest growing occupations in the U.S. over the next 10 years. She will be speaking about the professional responsibilities of her field, along with the average salary, availability of university programs and the degree needed for this profession.”
If you are interested in participating, please respond with your bio, if necessary, as soon as possible.
I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to getting together with you in November.
