“Paul and I met in the orchestra. I remember the first time I walked into the room at 14 years old I saw him standing behind the timpani. My eyes were instantly drawn to him, I found him to be so handsome. We didn’t date right away. We were friends, I would pretend to shoot my bass bow at him like I had a bow and arrow and he shared his pineapple chunks with me. By junior year he had become my very best friend. I shared everything with him and by senior year I was trying to decide if I wanted to date him and risk losing his friendship. After we graduated I finally made the leap and we dated for 8 years before we finally got married. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in a little over a month. We have two amazing boys, one 14 year old getting ready to graduate 8th grade and one 18 year old getting ready to graduate none other than Central High School (280!). I love having such a long and rich history with my husband and I have CHS to thank for that.”
