While many students hoped for one more summer day albeit in the sweltering heat, this year, for the first time in the school’s history, students and teachers returned (or were welcomed) to classrooms that are air conditioned. 75 window unit air conditioners – a generous donation from the 228th Class – were installed over the summer by the Philadelphia School District employees.
