As we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, we shine a light on two remarkable students, Faye L. and Erica Z., both from the 284th class. Through their academic dedication and community engagement in clubs like APIU, CPCA, and KSA, they’ve exemplified the spirit of Central High. Faye’s journey of self-discovery, fueled by mentorship from alumni, led her to pursue Urban Studies, while Erica’s involvement in cultural clubs inspired her to advocate for inclusion and unity among students. Together, they emphasize the importance of honoring AANHPI heritage and alumni support in fostering diversity and empowerment within our school community.
